I was so excited for this book because I loved the Gilded Wolves so much.  But this was only okay for me.  The cover is honestly better than the book itself.
Everyone seemed so delusional, I had to suspend my disbelief so much throughout.

I really enjoyed this gothic fairy tale. The characters were interesting and the mysteries kept me engaged. I loved that even though the bridegroom tells a lot of the story, it's not about him at all. It's very much centered on the female characters and their relationships. I especially loved the relationship between Indigo and Azure. The whole book was so atmospheric and mysterious, it absolutely drew me in and I didn't want to put it down.

I enjoyed Chokshi's The Gilded Wolves trilogy and this was a great debut into adult fiction. Looking forward to what she publishes next.

Was the twist worth it? Mostly. Was it a little slow and repetitive? A little. But was it still a solid ride? Yes.

More Mexican Gothic, less House of Hollow. Probably predictable for other readers, but I like being caught up in the ride. Had GORGEOUS lyrical writing and some lines I underlined in pen.

Loved the book, characters and story ! It makes me think again and again of all the possible outcome of the situation they were in, I loved the dual pov (And I am not fond of those usually) I only wished we got more of Bridegroom's story and background in his chapters
