Honestly loved the book way more than the others I love how this book's beginning is but the ending disappointed me.

Obviously a re-read on my part. Why? Well, I recently watched the movie Allegiant for the first time, and I must say, I was as confused as I was with Insurgent. The whole time I thought: what book did I read? Really? Did this happen? Am I just being forgetful?
Divergent the movie follows the book well, which I'm really happy about. It bugged me that I couldn't remember the series, so it was nice to refresh my memories. Divergent the book was really good, I love Veronica Roth's writing style, although I sometimes felt out of place and couldn't really imagine what was happening. When I read a book, a movie is playing in my head. But for that to work, I need to know WHERE the characters are, and sometimes it confused me how stuff could pop out of nowhere and I had no idea where we were.
Besides from that, I loved the book, and the story. Four is still my favorite character. The most important thing I can remember from my first time experiencing the story, is that I liked the first book the most. Let's hope the others don't disappoint me...

This book is as fantastic as The Hunger Games! There are similarities between the two but there are more differences. I couldn't believe some of the things that took place, like the bullying toward Tris and how quickly the war started (I figured it would start in the middle or the end of the series, basically thinking of The Hunger Games.). I desperately want to read Insurgent now but the series has become mainstream because of the movie. I wish I had read it earlier like I wanted to.

I know I'm probably going to get my head bit off for this review but OH WELL lol This book had a lot of HYPE & to be honest I wasn't expecting it to be THE-BEST-BOOK-EVER! I think readers sometimes expect too much out of a book or expect the book to be perfect & NEWS FLASH!!!!!! authors aren't perfect. So expecting a book to live up to the perfection level is useless.
But this book's hype was bullshit and the book wasn't very good.
You can disagree with me on this part, but I felt there was too much over-detailing, I was like please HURRY THE HELL UP & GET ON WITH IT!! (I screamed in my head). I'm not that interested in it that much to carry on with the rest of the series. Hell no.

I'm pretty sure everyone has read this book and loved it, but if for some reason you haven't, I would absolutely recommend that you start this series and check it out! I love the characters in this novel, as they are all very likable or at least really interesting to learn about. The writing was also amazing! The description really allowed the reader to visualize what was happening in the plot, which is action-packed! I thought this book was amazing and could not put it down!

I really liked it.
It was much more interesting than Hunger Games, and Tris is easier to relate to unlike Katniss.
I would say that I feel like rereading the book again but I want to know what happens next so onto Insurgent!!
