I love Shain Rose books and have got to know Cade and Izzy through their cameos in the other books, which i loved. So I was excited to read their story and see where it all began.
The book did not disappoint. I loved seeing how Izzy overcame her demons and turned it into a positive to become a strong woman. It was nice to get to know more about Cade the man behind the computer.
Cade and Izzy are one of my favourite book couples, they are definitely chaotic but great together.

Mrs Shain Rose did it again! I was so excited for Cade's book after reading Shattered Vows and Fractured Freedom! Cade was always so mysterious and the way he always interacted with other absolutely had me entranced. What can I say? I love the nerdy hacker boys lol But I was not prepared to get to know this side of him... holy shit! He was an absolute beast in every sense of the word. I read this book on KU and now have the paperback on my shelf. Tell me that cover model isn't drool worthy??
Shain definitely knows how to write men. I have read her Stonewood Brothers series and her tarnished empire series and her men only get better and better! Just when I thought I couldn't love her next character as much as the last, she gives us Cade and Izzy together. I absolutely devoured their story and can't wait for her next book to release. I already know I am going to be obsessed with it.

Fucking hell this book is hot. I gasped, I screeched, I clutched my pearls. I grabbed a toy. I had some alone time. I finished the book in a day. Lol. This book is ✨ top tier ✨ I'll definitely be buying a physical copy to reread and maybe stalking the author to see what else they've written. I'll DEFINITELY be reading the others in this world. I loved that Izzy wasn't some little weakling that needed to be saved. She worked hard to stay sober and excel at her job and she succeeded. Cade is basically my wet dreams. Smart, tattooed, powerful, possessive, and kinky AF. He gets what he wants but has to fight tooth and nail for Izzy because she's stubborn and it's great. Their hate sex?
All in all incredible smut. I wish there’d been more psychological focus on Izzy’s forced relapse. I liked this one better than the other two I’ve read by this author. I will say they f*ck on like, page 45 so that was fun.
