Though this book was about 350 pages, the relationship between Cade and Izzy felt so rushed. I love how strong Izzy is herself. Overcoming addiction and the trauma she suffered, is an amazing accomplishment. Unfortunately, I hated the way cade treated her when it came to her addiction. He constantly belittled her and consistently brought up her addiction as a reason that she couldn't handle things. I get he was supposed to be protecting her, but belitting her accomplishment really irked me. Addiction is not easy to overcome and Izzy is a freaking bad ass. I wish that she would have ended up with Rodney. He seemed super genuine and kind. I love her family and how supportive they were, but I do not at all like Cade. He was horrible. Personality, "redemption arc", and just overall, how he treated izzy.

My first Shain Rose book. Definitely not my last.
Wish I had the self control to have read this series-not-series in order to get the other brothers stories first, but it’s a comment, not complaint.

Really good spice and storyline. I didn’t really understand why Izzy was so embarrassed about the Vincent thing and that that was her deepest darkest secret… but not a huge deal. I felt the ending was very abrupt and there wasn’t much closure- only reason for the four stars. But the bonus chapter was great! All in all, a good book.

Well this book was something. It was a little fast paced for me, and i don’t really mind it , but they were basically on top of each other in the first chapter.
Still a good book though

Pretty much the same as the Freedom Fractured. It wasn’t terrible (unless you count the jaw dropping smut, which is was terribly delicious), but it wasn’t great. The writing still feels stunted and a little all over the place. Sometimes it felt hard to follow as to who was taking, what they were talking about, or what was happening. But I stayed for the smut and the HEA, both of which I got! Probably will finish the series with Bastian’s story too. Can’t say I’ll stop there either - I’d like to read the Hardy boys stories when they come out too, maybe even the Stonewood brothers series as well

This author is just not for me.
I DNF’ed the first book I read by this author and now this one… there was a little hope for a 2.5-3 in the middle there but there’s nothing I like about it so this was me giving the author a second chance, I don’t see a third happening.
