It took me a few days for this book to catch my attention. Cade is pretty toxic, it's clear he cares for Izzy but his methods are less than savory. Izzy struggles with the idea of being "good enough" and having to prove herself in every area of her life to maintain control on her sobriety.
Overall, the relationship is pretty toxic, but you wouldn't be here if you weren't looking for that sort of thing.
3/5 stars is a good rating for me. I would continue to read this if it was a series and would be interested in seeing more of Cade's POV.

Cade could quite actually ruin my life and I think I would enjoy every moment. This book was very spicy, and even with some darker themes, it was a fun read. I enjoyed getting to see Izzy's POV and her getting her own HEA. I'm even more jealous she ended up with Cade (because as much as I enjoyed Dante in Fractured Freedom)- this man gave me major FOMO. The mouth on that man? I'm manifesting for my future husband lol.

I enjoyed this more than I expected! I previously read Fractured Freedom and having now read this, I definitely prefer Izzy to her twin!
I liked Izzy's character development - from a control freak to someone who embraces her crazies without constantly fearing a relapse or what others would think.
