Augh just as it was getting intense, we have to wait to find out anything! Carter and Aria are continuing their storyline and what trials they have to overcome from the first book. The book picked up right where the last book left off and it was so good! Can’t wait to read the next book and find out what happens between Carter and Aria and if their love is real or not!

Jesus fn’ Christ

I got a little behind on reading Heartless, but I just finished it and I’m not sure how to feel about you. I kinda wanna slap you, kinda wanna hug you. You’ve made my emotions turn into a bipolar bitch 😂 Talk about being a Cliffhanger Queen...Lord! This book was by far one of the best that I’ve read by you and that’s saying a lot since I love your little warped and depraved mind. The angst, the drama, the love, the hate, it’s all there. Your work puts a person through the ringer and keeps you reeling. I love your writing style and have yet to find anyone who can captivate like you do. I’m so anxious for book three.

I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I just really hoped for more with this second book after reading the first. It just dragged on more until the very end when something finally starts to happen with the “war.” I also put myself in the female MC’s shoes and the back and forth with Carter is just a complete mind f***. It exhausts me too and I’m the reader. Is she really just a possession to him? I am still feeling like he has no idea what it is to actually love or care for someone.. she grows to love him but I don’t feel like he reciprocates that.

This series is completely capturing my attention! I have loved the push and pull of this plot line and the romance. And the few twists in this story had me holding my breath! Loving it!
