I really liked this novel.

It deals with so many issues that anyone in life goes through but it is told from the perspective of a teenager and a twenty year old.

Ash looses her twin and at the wedding is told by her estranged father that she is coming to live with him as her mother wants this, this makes Ash feel unwanted.
The novel follows her journey through her grief, aided by letter from her sister to be opened once she has completed a task. Ash also has to deal with the lives and problems of her father's new partner's children and this gives rise to other issues.
Added to all this is the owner of the blue eyes she saw on the train and whom she has fallen in love with.
A story of love and loss, which had tears rolling down my face during the last few chapters.

Definitely one to read.

I have a sweet tooth for forbidden romances... especially student-teacher ones. I blame Pretty Little Liars for that. I bought this book because it's been a while since I read anything remotely close to a forbidden romance. But this book is something else! I read this book during my vacation in Luxembourg. I read it within a day with sight seeing trips in between. It is a page turner and pulled my heart strings. If you love forbidden romances, you will definitely love this book!

The fact that this was Brittainy Cherry’s first book amazes me. It was in her classic heartbreaker/swoon style that gets me every single time.

Ashlyn’s world was just destroyed by the death of her twin sister, circumstances force her go live the rest of her senior year of high school with her estranged father and his new family. In the train on her way there she meets the eyes of a boy and an instant connection is formed.

But since I’m so bad at writing summaries I’m gonna leave that part for you to read. lol

While I did love this book I also found some parts to be really childish and immature but I guess that’s okay for someone who’s still in high school and learning life. But it still gets me:D

5+⭐️

Phenomenal.

Gah, this book! Well I really loved it! It was heartbreaking and beautiful. I love all the characters and I am rooting for everyone this entire book. I cried a lot, but it was both good and sad tears, more sad...A lot of angst just due to the content, but oh so worth it! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a characters you can love and see grow and then just find themselves. Soul mates found at the wrong time in their lives.

3 stars!

The beginning of this book was so good that I thought to myself...this is it. This will be my first 5 star book of the year...But the middle was missing something and the ending was a bit rushed. Hence, the 3 stars.

I loved the whole first part of the book where Ashlyn and Daniel meet. It was just perfect! Loved the band. Loved the Shakespeare. Loved the walk around the block. Loved her getting to know Hailey and Ryan.

And then I found myself losing some interest in the middle of the book. It seemed like the author tried to take on too much in this novel. Especially what happens with Ryan. It was out of place. It also really bothered me how careless Ashlyn and Daniel were about being together in front of other people. And then when Henry
Spoilerfinds out and does nothing about it, it was just too unrealistic, in my opinion.

I liked this book-didn't love it. But, it has great reviews, so I would encourage you to pick it up and try it out for yourself. This might have been a case of "It's not you, it's me."
