While wonderfully illustrated and fun, this is more a cookbook than anything else. And while I like ramen, I don't quite like enough to try making it just now. But, should you or I ever want to make it for ourselves, it is one I would read again.

Wow! This was chock full of details about the history and process for making ramen that I had no idea about. It was such a delightful read and although I don't know that I'll be making my own ramen anytime soon I really enjoyed learning all about it!
This was fun to read! I just wish there were more vegetarian recipes :(
Clear recipes, well written and easy to follow. Beautiful drawings of food. My only criticism is that there are fewer recipes than I’d like and since they are part of a narrative, they’re a little difficult to reference. But excellent overall, I plan to gift this to interested parties.
