Great start, full of darkness and sad, revenge fueled plot. The characters in Nash's books are never cut and dry, which I love. Their decisions are not always easy to read and that's the case here too. 3rd person won't work for everyone but I really like the writing style.

Wowww this plot is spicy! The relationship between Severn and Mikhail is M E S S Y. Looking forward to how things unfold in the next book.
I would give this book a higher rating but I really hated the trope of angels having light skin and demons having dark skin. Fucking yikes.
