Okay I’m revived.. WHAT WAS THAT. This world that Rina Kent has made has my head spinning and I can’t stop reading it. It’s genuinely like a train wreck that you can’t look away from but in the best ways.

I didn't love this one quite as much as the first book. I think the suspense / plot twists / secret aspect of this book was dragged out. Like the way the FMC kept getting back dreams or images of her past just seemed repetitive at some point. Basically I LOVED book 1 and I'm still very much invested in the storyline overall, but this could have been a duet I think. Spice is still top tier, and the storyline is still unique though. I loved it enough to continue, but it was a bit of a disappointment from book one.
