4.5 stars. Hart of Dixie vibes with the small town doctor and local bad boy who is actually a responsible business owner. Both main characters were very likeable, as were the side characters. No cartoon villains here! The story was quite sweet and developed well with good pacing.
For chick-lit classic romance, this one is actually pretty well written. At times, the main character can be oblivious and annoying - but the story and plotlines and chemistry makes up for it. Small town romance has a charm and is such an easy uplifting read!
I dare say this was a stand up romance. It surprised me by having an actual story line (that made sense as it unraveled). I mean, it's nothing ground breaking but it was there and it worked. And it actually developed the relationship between the two leads as they spent more time together going from - 'hey, I like you face and other things' to 'I actually like spending time with you and want to be there for you'. It was delightful. Reading the description I thought this was going to be pure trash (but in a fun way). I was so pleasantly surprised when it turned out to be more.
Decent
Decent book, decent read. I didn't find anything special about the story. I liked both Ellie and Tyler's characters. They both were somewhat complex, and had similar difficult pasts. Ellie was a planner and rule follower, but Tyler was more laid back. The heat factor, in my opinion was pretty mild. Wasn't very spicy to me, with the exception of Ellie walking in on somebody else and their own scenes. I didn't like the mystery of the chapters of the book Ellie was reading to drive men wild. I would've liked it to be spelled out for me.
Overall a decent read. May read this author again.

I was rather surprised by this book! It was short, yet complete, and utterly funny as well! It had something for everyone: small towns, bad boys, secondary love interest, heroine that didn't see her beauty, the list goes on. I enjoyed how it was combined together and a dash of spice was added in! When I finished it, I immediately went and bought the next in the series! I would recommend this to anyone wanting a light, steamy and humorous read!
I have many feelings about this one; my review will be up for this one very, very soon.
Dr. Ellie Swan takes a practical, thoroughly researched view on all things. That is why when she finds out her crush from high school is suddenly single and evidently the reason for the break up, he is too sexually adventurous. Ellie needs help and when the perfect opportunity shows up at her door needing her help, she strikes a bargain. Take the bullet out of his bum and he helps her become more adventurous in bed.
Tyler Longfoot knows he has a bit of a reputation as a bad boy, but it doesn’t mean he is a gigolo. However, Ellie has grown into a beautiful woman and he can’t help but be highly entertained by her drive to become a master in all things to do with sex. Ellie’s idea of research though includes a book with carefully detailed notes and that clashes with Tyler’s idea of living in the moment, but when Tyler realizes he has fallen for the woman who seems determined to be with someone else, he decides to up the ante and win her heart instead.
This was highly entertaining. Was laughing throughout. Ellie although highly intelligent is dumber than a rock when it comes to seeing what’s right in front of you. I felt for Tyler, especially when she brings out the book of instructions, how can you compete with The Wild Woman’s Guide to Sex and keep a straight face. Fantastic read.
