Must be made into a movie!
This is one of those books that are destined to be what girls watch when they get together.
Private Practice doesn't have a deep plot. In fact, it has a fairly predictable one. Even though I already know what's going to happen, it doesn't change the fact that I was very much entertained when I was reading this. The way these two characters talk is just.. very refreshing and humorous! I can clearly picture it if it were made into a movie. There are lots of laugh-out-loud moments and a series of i-can't-believe-she-just-said-that / did-that moments. I swear to you, if you read this, kill me if you don't laugh for at least three times or more. ;p
All in all, good plot, entertaining characters, very amusing banters... perfect book to turn into a movie! ^_^
I'll definitely read more from this author.
Special thanks to Melai (you know who you are) for recommending this. ;)

4.5 stars -- ok, this review is coming a bit long after I read it, so won't be as thorough. But I seriously enjoyed myself reading this. Ellie was eminently likeable and hilarious, and Tyler was her perfect counterpart. It wasn't as erotic as I'd been expecting, but I was pleasantly surprised by the humour and depth in the story, so win win. And just b/c it wasn't as erotic as I was expecting does not mean it didn't have some great steam....oh, it nailed that part. ;)

Funny, sweet small-town romance. Ellie was annoyingly oblivious at times and the end didn't fully gel for me, but for a debut this is pretty impressive.
Favorite scene: "Mistress" Ellie cracked me up.
Least-favorite: Some of the diabetes stuff irked, but I've had D most of my life and it was irksome in a way that's common of health care practitioners. ymmv.

This was so so good! I've been reading some of Samanthe Beck's books and I'm totally hooked. The characters are so fun and have a lot of good depth and layers throughout the story. Also the book was spicy and so so fun. I loved the premise of "tutor" and student and Beck carried it well. I can't wait to read more of the series and I love love love small town romance. I enjoyed the time that Tyler dedicated to the assignment and really the man went above and beyond. He was a great character and I think he balanced out Ellie's nerves well.
I was pleasantly surprised by this book! I definitely judged it by it’s covered and went in expecting a cheesy, smutty, quick-read but this was actually a really fun & sweet romance. This deserves to have an illustrated cover à la Christina Lauren’s or Tessa Bailey’s latest works. I’d even say this book had slightly less steam than what those authors dish out.
Also, as a Kentuckian, I loved the setting and the frequent mention of familiar places like Lexington & Ashland. A fun bonus!

Private Practice is a contemporary romance story about Dr Ellie Swann who has a plan! Shes going to move back home to Bluelick, Kentucky, open her own surgery, look after he dad and make the town golden boy (and her high school crush) Roger, fall in love with her now he's newly single! Trouble is she's overheard he's into 'kinky sex' and she's not! So with her book 'The Wild Woman's Guide to Sex: Tactics Guaranteed to Bring a Man to His Knees' in hand, she enlists town bad boy Tyler Longfoot, to tutor her and and teach just how a women pleases a man! Bumps along the way however have her questioning her original motive for her plan!
I really enjoyed this book, it didn't take me long to kind of see how the story would pan out but even so I knew as soon as I started reading it I wasn't going to be able to put it down.
Tyler has to be my perfect book boyfriend and swoon worthy hero in a story! He is hot!! Funny!! Slightly dominating!! and he rides a Harley!! I think i'm in love!!! He also had a really nice caring and protective side to him.
Ellie's character was entertaining, she had a more innocent side to her but she did come out with some funny things! Her innocence was made even more funny by the things she had highlighted in her book that she wanted to learn! I do wonder what Chapter 13 was about?!?!?
I though the book was really well written and definitely kept my interest throughout. I look forward to reading more stories by Samanthe Beck, I thought she did a fantastic job with this one!

What a fun read!
Loved the set up and the way it was executed and thought the hero was dreamy!

It was great. Ellie was a bit stubborn, but it worked out :)
I totally forgot to rate this and review, it's been so long since I read it but anyway!
Another amazing Brazen book!

Now, this was not only hot, but it actually had a good plot and it was really cute!
