Léger et sympa mais repose sur d’énormes ficelles scénaristiques facile à anticiper. La fin m’a semblé bâclée

I enjoyed it, but sadly, it didn't live up to my expectations.

I expected a completely different story and characters. However, I just can't help but see Olive and Adam all over again, but only this time, they're vegan and they love cats. (I love the scenes with cats, of course, and the puns). There's also another Tom and Anh. Also, I didn't like how much Bee mentioned Marie Curie.

Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad book at all. It's just very similar to the first book.

Should you read this? That really depends on you.

If you haven't read The Love Hypothesis and you love contemporary romance that would make you smile like an idiot while reading it, then you should read Love On The Brain.

If you have read The Love Hypothesis, you're really not missing out on this one.

As always, I start Ali’s books thinking I know exactly how it’s going to go and then am pleasantly reminded why Ali is an author and I’m not 😂 because I’m never right and her plot is much more interesting.

the way i predicted 90% of the stuff that happened in this book…
i liked this more than the love hypothesis because bee is honestly a better main character and is way cooler, but there’s just something about ali hazelwood’s female protagonists. they’re the exact same and are always so dense?? like i genuinely don’t understand how bee was so blind to levi’s feeling omg i don’t even want to talk about it. im also just not a huge fan of the whole ‘he loves her but she thinks he hates her’ trope but i will read anything ali hazelwood publishes so i torture myself a little and i’m fine with that
