OK, I see why this gets a bad wrap because there were some parts that were a little cringe but I actually kinda liked the Love Story but thought it was cute and fun. The end was a little interesting but overall acute fun read.

This is an enjoyable story. As a female scientist, I truly appreciate the references and comments the book makes about women in STEM. While the love story may be quite predictable for avid literature fans, the surrounding elements add great value.

I think I would have enjoyed it more had I waited longer in between The Love Hypothesis and this book. There were just too many of the same tropes and similarities that made this book feel a bit uncreative / unoriginal . Still a lovely romance book and really enjoyable writing style - though sadly I didn't connect with it quite as much as with Ali Hazelwoods first novel.
