This book took me months to finish because of how graphic it was. I’m a big fan of horror and this was more graphic than many of the horror novels I’ve read. Lots of detailed descriptions of torture to the point where I was literally gagging.
The overall plot was good but the ending felt so rushed I was surprised with the ending.

So hard to read because it’s so slow. Writing and dialogue felt like a juvenile YA book that isn’t at all appropriate for that audience.

This was my first Karin Slaughter book, and it definitely won’t be my last. This had me hooked from the beginning and I was binging every single moment I could. This has soooo many twists I didn’t see coming. I cannot recommend this enough!
