I really am thoroughly enjoying these books. I love Alexia.

I wanted to like this one as much as the first 2. It was close. Most of it was fun, but I will say that I agree with a lot of the other reviews that Conall was a dick. His apology was garbage. He never even apologized. He totally said "You should have known I didn't mean it." No. Absolutely not. Divorce. Also I thought the ending was a little abrupt. Not as good as the endings of the first 2 books. Probably not going to continue the rest of the series.

Audio book review. Narrator: Emily Gray. Great narration, again, which I think really makes the book come alive. More of all my favorite characters, although I did get a bit teary over what happens with one of the supporting characters towards the end. Only notice one or two places with POV switching, so overall, an improvement there too. On to the next book in the series!

Blamesless starts off a month or two after the events of Changeless. Alexia is living with her family again (much to her displeasure), and is determined to figure out how her "condition" is possible, so she may prove Conall wrong. It has nothing to do with winning him back. At all. Really.

This book was slightly heartbreaking at first because of how Aleixa was feeling (and still, it makes you laugh-out-loud with remarkable ease), but Conall and Alexia's separation wasn't as agonizing as I initially feared it will be for a few reasons; first, Conall realized his mistake relatively quickly, even if Alexia didn't know he had. So, at least as a reader, who did know, I was satisfied.
Second, because of Alexia's soulless condition, she handles it - at least outwardly - very well, which in return as a reader made me handle is well. No Bella-typed depression and suicidal attempts for this lady! Na-uh, she'll go prove her husband's a douche!

The most agonizing bits in the story came from an unexpected direction; Biffy's twist. Biffy is Lord Akeldama's favorite drone, and the human he loves. So everything that happened there, and I won't tell you what, made me want to cry.

My favorite part of the story? probably Lyall's POV. I really like being in his head, for some reason. I think it really complimented Alexia's pov, for some reason.

Anyways, I'm supremely looking forward to the infant inconvenience - I mean Baby - being born! That's going to be super awesome!

Oh, how can this book share the exact same style, the characters are fresh, unique, themselves... It is a pleasure to now such a chiseled character - doing the unexpected in the same style

I felt so bad for Alexia who soldiered on despite an idiot judgment by her husband. can we have 3 cheers for Floote!?

Seemed to decrease the randy and increased the "action" if you could call it that.
It's funny how it seems like nothing really happened, and then I check the audiobook timer and I had already burned through 9 hours of...stuff & nonsense.
Also, can we all agree that Floote was a former Templar? It just makes sense.
