As much as I wanted to be wrong about all of this I found it predictable. Each "twist" I saw from the beginning. It would have been more wild if one of the stepkids was to blame for the disappearance.
I really enjoyed this book! I found it very intriguing and fun because I figured out the “bad person”, but I was surprised by the abrupt ending. Overall it was a good read!

It was an interesting take to set it during the pandemic but I didn't feel like it made a difference to be honest. I found some of the POVs more successfull than others. Overall a very quick and easy read.

Kai marries a handsome and very wealthy businessman. Neither wants children. She lives a glamorous life…filled with entertaining and other meaningless tasks.
Both women disappear around the same time. Could the disappearance of these two women, who are so different, be related?
I’ve only read one other book by Ms. Parks but found it very enjoyable, so I jumped at the chance to read this one. The cover is absolutely beautiful and grabbed my attention the first time I saw it. This domestic thriller has some awesome twists. Some I saw coming, but others were a complete surprise! I highly recommend it!

pretty decent thriller that i read because i sent all my books home and only had my kindle lol
lots of fun plot twists! it really was plot twist central. constantly challenging your perception of the characters and your understanding of the relationships.
weird that it was set during the very beginning of covid!
finished very abruptly. you can't just throw someone off a cliff and finish the story. thats bold.
