The other side

If you like getting to know the other side of an event then you need to read this book it shows what happened with Robin before she shows up in Demon Magic and a Martini. It's a great read
adventurous funny medium-paced

Definitely a fun, comfort sort of read. It was one of the better self-published Amazon books I had read in a hot minute. ~ Look forward to reading more. ^^

Full Review on my blog!

Annette Marie has been on my TBR list foreverrrr, and I was so happy to finally get my hands on one of her books for a blog tour!

Taming Demons for Beginners was EVERYTHING I'd hoped for and more. I absolutely loved it. The writing was amazing and I really got sucked into the plot! There was lots of action and was fast moving. I couldn't put it down.

Robin Page, accidental demon contractor. She finds herself living with her Uncle and his family, where she befriends a demon they have summoned and she accidentally becomes linked to the demon. The story really delves into their budding relationship and friendship. They are very different and don’t trust each other but bit a bit they’re willing to give each other a try. I don't want to give too much more away, you'll really have to give this a read, you won't be disappointed!

Overall, I loved Taming Demons for Beginners it was dark and creepy, yet fun and hopeful at the same time. The plot is interesting and I'm really looking forward to see how Robin and Zylas relationship develops in the next book!

I highly, HIGHLY recommend this book.

I 100% judged this book by its cover. I thought it was going to be silly, maybe a little immature and not nearly as good as it was. It still had a young feel to it but not obnoxiously immature.

This book flew by for me, I couldn’t put it down. I really liked both Robin and Zylas. Their banter and they way they slowly built their relationship was so fun. I liked how the author took her time at the beginning when Zylas was trapped. Although Robin was a frustrating doormat during that part, I still had fun reading it.

This was just a fun story to turn off your brain! I hope it stays just as enjoyable and doesn’t lose itself in the series.

This book was so much fun. Really like the two main characters and the world built. There were definitely some clichés and plot questions that didn't get fully resolved but I absolutely raced through it and am keen to read the next.

3.5 stars. I liked this and plan on continuing, although I'm not at the edge of my seat to go on (although I probably should before I forget the story/characters ...) My library had the audio, and the kindle copy is included in KindleUnlimited (which I have at the moment). I like to have the text available, but I didn't feel I needed to turn to it (although I probably would do a quick skim before starting a sequel if I don't hit it immediately).

Don't judge a book by it's cover ... the cartoon cover here didn't draw me in at all. Just felt a little ... childish, or Anime? Also, demons aren't a favorite topic in the paranormal for me, but this had such high reviews I figured I'd give it a try. I liked it. Just a cute introduction to our characters and the setting in this installment ... I wasn't at all surprised at how things turned out SPOILER
Spoiler that Robin would contract with Zylas, so he could live, but not be contracted to the other guys

The narrator was really quite perfect for the main gal, just very cute, young, very natural sounding. I enjoyed listening to her.
