I'd say there maybe was a LOT going on in that last 25% which made it feel like it had 20 endings but i still freaking LOVED this book.

CANT WAIT TO JUMP INTO THE NEXT ONE!

Anyway, one word: ZYLAS

I absolutely adored this book! A great fun read.

Liked it

I liked it. Good plot and doesn't drag. Excited to read the next in the series. May even binge it.

I read this whole book in one sitting. As soon as we met Zylas the demon it was unputdownable! There’s fast paced action, a cute awkward MC who is realistic and reminds me of me, a hot demon (I can forgive the tail just this once), lots of action, and a nice slowburn romance!! It’s everything I love in Urban Fantasy.

This was the first series in the Guild Codex world that I read, and I really enjoyed it. While it does crossover pretty heavily with the other series (Spellbound and Warped), I was able to follow the plot without knowing their storylines.

This series is light-hearted and fun. I would recommend for anyone that is looking for a new urban fantasy series to start where the main character isn't a god-like badass, but, a kind of ordinary person with "ordinary" powers.
