I enjoyed this book so thoroughly. Speaks of the power of books and the power of knowledge. The power of seeing perspectives other than your own. I’ve seen some reviews that say it was too “extreme” to be relatable and I just couldn’t disagree more. Sure, it was hyperbolic, putting the extreme example of each character all in one community, but isn’t even a little bit unrealistic in my eyes. I’ve had arguments with the very people this story depicts. I’ve seen them on TV. On social media. They’re VERY real.

Also, this book lengthened my TBR list significantly.

I truly loved this book and think it’s so important for everyone to read! Really the only thing I didn’t like was the character count. There were a lot to keep track of and that kept me from being invested in the characters. Other than that this is a great read.
