Okay SO 👏🏻. I’ve read this several times before, and it keeps getting better each time. The world building is great, and I love the characters in here! The plot isn’t my favorite, but it does get better throughout the other books. I rate it a 4.5 stars, and I’ll definitely read it again at some point.

Rereading the series. There are funny bits I did not remember. Re entering this world is a bit like opening a closet, stocking it with blankets, oatmeal cream pies, and locking yourself in. It's quite nice.

First round of rereading. Read it as a child and rewatched the movies so many times but I’ve never reread the series, but decided to do so over the halloweeney season which always makes me crave some hp. Can’t believe all the extra things I’ve forgotten.
