The idea was great, but it fell slightly short for me. Sometimes it felt like it was written in the wrong order, like the exposition came at the wrong time. Rather than feeling invested in why a character was making a choice, I was a bit uninterested, then later the author gave the backstory I needed, but by that time, I felt "eh" about it. The moral of the story was great, but I wish the story had delved deeper into these characters.

I didn’t enjoy this as much as I hoped I would. It got better as it went along but I found the beginning quite difficult to get in to.
A lot of characters with names beginning with the same letter we’re introduced within a few pages which I found confusing.
The first story is also the weakest of the four.
I really liked the concept and this could easily have been a four star but it just didn’t quite hit. I also found it surprisingly repetitive for how short it is. Reading the same half page about what it’s like to travel to the last four times, the same half page about the ghost lady four times, the same page about the rules four times. The message about regrets, hope, love and making the most of what you have was really good though.
