Very spooky! I really liked the use of the “came back wrong” trope, it really added another layer of horror to the simple stories.

Favourites: introduction, a ladys hands are cold, my friend janna and in conclusion.
Loved the last panel “you must travel through the woods again and again and be lucky to avoid the wolf every time but the wolf only needs enough luck to find you once”

Alright: our neighbors house and his face all red

Least: the nesting place

The art is incredible but sometimes I think I'm too dumb to understand what Carroll is trying to say in her stories. Maybe she's not trying to say anything at all and the horror is the unknown, etc., etc. The best story in the book is The Nesting Place, it's genuinely creepy and the characters are very fun.
