Me empecé el libro sin saber siquiera de qué iba, y voy y me encuentro con un libro de estos que te dan un abrazo calentito, esos que te lees mientras te tomas tu café.
El hecho de que haya podido leer los distintos puntos de la historia desde las perspectivas de cada uno de los personajes principales ha hecho que la experiencia haya sido mucho más rica y emocionante. No puedo elegir un personaje favorito, porque todos me caen genial (teniendo en cuenta la mala ostia de Arthur, nuestro abuelito de Up).
El final fue la mejor forma de culminar la historia y me dejó muy muy muy soft.

Listened to the audio book because I needed something light to balance a few heavy reads- it succeeded in that! It was fine, at the beginning it was more intriguing but as it went along I was kind of over it. To me, the characters became boring and each horrible in their own way, and I didn’t like how quickly & easily it all wrapped up in a perfect bow. Didn’t like the glorifying of characters horrible qualities as loving quirks, it felt kind of lazily written. BUT I did really like the shift in voice and perspectives and thought it would be a fine airport or beach read.

Giving this 3.5 stars (rounding up). This is generally a feel-good book about friendship, finding people in your life who lift you up and help you go on, even when life is beating the hell out of you. I listened to the audiobook and enjoyed the narration - she brought these interesting characters to life with different voices and inflection that were not too hokey. I thought the characters were well drawn and I was invested in their outcome -- wanting them all to have happy endings. Nothing too heavy hitting here - this is a nice, light summer read without being outright fluff.
