I forgot to mention, the art is incredible. Especially the colored introductory pages in the volume. I am slowly remembering the storyline and it’s so wild. Though some parts I’m like “ok” because it’s just not quite a read-the-room moment but it’s for the ~ drama ~.

I was so surprised that Maximum kissed Fang after they had to leave home because the erasers attacked them. It was still just as good as the last one.

"Maximum Ride Vol.2" by NaRae Lee and James Patterson follows The Flock after escaping from "The School" as they go to New York in search of answers on their identities.
I would give "Maximum Ride Vol.2" by NaRae Lee and James Patterson a 5-star review because, I do like the art and writing, I liked learning more about the flock, Fang and Max are probably my fav and I most def ship them, and I liked the suspense and the cliffhanger at the end.

This was a quick read after the first one. I think it held the spirit of the original books and certainly held my son's attention. He really wants to read the original now!

Reading the Maximum Ride manga reminds me how much I loved the books. I feel nostalgic now. It's beautifully drawn, I love seeing the characters and their wings look so cool.
