another absolute banger. the world building, the pacing, the characters - it's all excellent!
In all honesty, I enjoyed this book. The writing wasn't that great, the characters weren't stellar, and the plot wasn't edge of your seat action. Yet I still enjoyed this book. There was a lot of romantic tension that got worse as the book progressed (this is going to be another series that I HATE once the characters sleep with each other). The main character acted relatively human. And the premise of this book is interesting. I will read the others in the series although I won't actively seek them out.
