Such a sweet story to read with beautifully described landscapes and various warmhearted fantasy creatures. I love how the author wants to teach good values in his stories, as it's actually a book for kids. It's just sad how the story is kind of also teaching old-fashioned role models, due to the time period it was written.

Echt een hele mooie verhaal!

Fourth bypublication date but sixth be setting entry in [a: C.S Lewis|15105439|C S Lewis|https://s.gr-assets.com/assets/nophoto/user/u_50x66-632230dc9882b4352d753eedf9396530.png]'s 'Chronicles of Narnia' ostensibly children stories, this sees Eustace Scrubb (first introduced in [b: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader|140225|The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (Chronicles of Narnia, #3)|C.S. As a Narnia book, the Christian allegory is still there, albeit perhaps not as blatant as in [b: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe|100915|The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe (Chronicles of Narnia, #1)|C.S. Lewis|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1353029077s/100915.jpg|4790821], most especially towards the end when the quest (to find the missing Prince) is completed, with the 'death' of King Caspian. I also noted quite strong similarities, in the scene with the Witch and Pubblegum the marsh-wiggle debating, to Plato's famous philosophical allegory of the cave:

This book and [b:The Magician's Nephew|65605|The Magician's Nephew (Chronicles of Narnia, #1)|C.S. It has been so long since I had actually troubled myself to read [b:The Voyage of the Dawn Treader|140225|The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (Chronicles of Narnia, #5)|C.S. Lewis|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1172116494s/140225.jpg|3349054] that it was surprising to me that this is the Eustace from that story, but I suppose I should have remembered that. I'm not sure if Quinn will want to read [b:The Last Battle|84369|The Last Battle (Chronicles of Narnia, #7)|C.S.
