My favorite Narnia. I enjoyed puzzling over why as I read this time. I love the illusions and lies that drive this story. I love the subterranean setting and all the water that isn't ocean. I think I am a Marshwiggle. There's more to say, but I think I'm not ready to say it yet.

I had to read this for class and I swear I remember it being way more engaging when I was younger. I had an addiction to these novels when I was Elementary School so I was excited when I saw this on the syllabus and then I remembered all my favorite characters were either dead or barely in it. It was still obviously a classic that I enjoyed rereading but, it was not how I remembered it all.

Enjoyed this book more than the last (The Voyage of the Dawn Treader) as the plot seemed to flow better. Not sure if I personally find the books less relatable/enjoyable without the Pevensies but liked the adventure nonetheless, especially because of C.S Lewis’ beautiful imagery and Christian symbolism.

Kabarnya fim ini akan rilis thn 2017. Sbnrnya agk gimana baca narnia tanpa anak2 Pevensie, krn di buku ini hanya eustace, sepupu anak2 Pevensie yg berkesempatan kembali & berpetualang di Narnia. Di buku sebelumnya Eustace sdh pernah ke Narnia bersama Edmund & Lucy serta berkesempatan berlayar bersama Caspian muda.
