Might be my fave in the series so far! I love Liz’s writing, she always delivers a romance with actual plot and writing that I don’t cringe at!

Eh isaiah is too childish for a 30 year old, can't be serious to save his life, my heart arched for him sometimes and his struggled and childhood, but unfortunately it wasn't enough to make me like the book
And him saying he hasn't been with a woman in a long time when it's only been 7/8 months is irritating
The whole fmc having an asshole ex where she was unhappy and unfullfilled and celibat also annoyed the shit out of me, why did she have to be in a loveless sexless relationships while he fucked around ? It's only fair that she should have had a good sex life too or him celibat
This is a repetitive trope in most her books and it's extremely misogynistic
Anyways these quotes grated on my nerves, the downplaying of his manwhoring didn't sit well with me
-"So, who is she?”
On this day, where everything feels like a sign, I don’t hesitate when I say, “My future wife.”
He was infatuated enough to say he knew she was his future wife yet couldn't keept it in his pants for her ?

Like for fucks sake if the author is gonna write about an unexperienced touch repulsed fmc who only felt comfortable with him and ONLY explored her sexuality with him , the why in god's green earth couldn't she at least have made him celibat after meeting her? What does making him a manwhore prove apart from totally ruining his whole " i've had feelings for you for years" crap
Because shit like this only made me roll my eyes at the hypocrisy.
