I thought Shane and Diana was going to be Dean and Allie 2.0 but they weren’t. You can see pieces of Dean/Allie vibes in them with their personalities, backgrounds, and certain things they do plot wise. This book was a mix of serious plot devices and fun banter.
Knocking off half a point because I hate cancer as a plot device and also I realize how much of the plot was basically a remix of Dean/Allie. The watching an show that no one else likes, a sick parent, rich boy who lives a life of “their” name, a fun artistic girl with ex boyfriend drama, friends with benefits that becomes more

This book had such a good balance of plot, spice and romance. Elle Kennedy didn’t miss the mark on this one. This might be her spiciest book to date.

There was so much wit, humour and banter in this book and I absolutely LIVED for the cameos of my favourite Briar boys.

I hadn’t expected to cry so much either. This book had me bawling, especially towards the tail end. Elle had always tackled difficult themes and topics in her books, so I’m not surprised that this one was the same. In fact, this one felt like a more upscale version of The Deal and The Score from her original Off Campus series.

I absolutely LOVED this one. Definitely a must read!
