A very interesting book dealing with death care and rituals from several places around the world. An inside look at something most of us never fathom to think about let alone discuss. I appreciated learning how other cultures think about death and their customs. Makes you think about your own time to come.

Fascinating tales of how we all handle death and greving differently. It was very interesting to see different cultures, some made me cringe, some made me cry but all of them made me re-think my own relationship to death. My opinion really has changed and I want to be more educated on the subject. Thank you Caitlin Doughty for starting such an important and "vital" ;) conversation.
