This book was funny and extremely weird at the same time. I found myself laughing out loud and then wondering what in the world was I reading. The situations the main characters are put in are so bizarre that they end up being funny. It was a really fast read, and so short it left me wanting more. I´m probably getting the rest of the books in this series to see where the story is heading next.
The only thing I think this book lacked is character development. It just flew past a small explanation about each of them, and then move on, and I´d liked a little more on each of them, just because they´re too interesting as to leave it all unsaid.
Anyway, mainly because I read part of this on the train and laugh out loud, without even caring if people look weirdly at me, I´m giving this book 4 stars.

I was recently lamenting to stephanie the lack for the “comedy” genre in literature. Theres comedy in film and tv which makes up a large proportion , why not in books. The take i now realise was due to ignorance and this is exactly what i was looking for.

Its so deep it even gracefully shares the answer to life, the universe and everything!

Lovely book that I had to put down and start over again almost three years later but it was worth it. I just wasn’t ready to fully comprehend and enjoy it yet but now that I was, I’m glad I did.

I wanted so hard to like this but I didn't. I might try again in the future but not anytime soon.
The author relies on making you laugh 90% of the time by listing a bunch of absurdist things in a row. Maybe if you have a dad humor or if you never near a funny book before, it would work. But for me, it fell like it book was trying too hard to be funny. I much prefer Terry Pratchett subtleness.
