This might be the best book I've read so far this year. It made me laugh, it made me mad, it made me cry. Sometimes my eyes looked like this --> O_O and not once did I rolled my eyes at the story, if I do roll my eyes when reading a book then the stars go down to 4 or less. This book was well written, the story was incredibly good and believable. I absolutely loved it, but I do believe this is one of those books that you either love or hate because Matt was a "special" character, most would think he is a jerk but if you keep reading you'll realize that he is not bad at all. I loved Hannah, she was a strong character. Lots of very steamy sex scenes, that's when my eyes went like this O_O Read this book, you won't regret it.
It wasn't perfect, by all means. But it has the capacity to tear you.
It was desperate, depressing, hot and frustrating. It has a manic sound to its words. Every emotion that passes each character was delivered to the readers more than effectively. There's a deep knowledge in this book. And each heartbreak will break your own.

A story normally deserving two stars surprised me in the last forty percent with a delightful love story that has me hungering for more. Definitely for erotic romance readers and slightly darker than typical contemporary flair.
I did not expect to enjoy this book a lot! I think it was because I was able to sink into the story because the characters are both part of the online writing community, which I can highly relate to. Also add to the fact that Matt is an author with a very mysterious persona!

I think it's a little weird the author uses the same name for the main writer's alias. Not cool: the ending.

I made it about 40% in where unbelievable just turned into full-blown offensive. I'm not bashing the readers who liked this book, but I will NEVER think it's sexy or okay for a guy to go on and on about what a slut and a whore a woman is and see it as a compliment/turn-on. The fact that it was even acknowledged by the character that the demeaning actions and comments were made was just... ugh.

I seriously just roared through this book in one sitting. 5 hours later, no pages left to read and hungering for more! One of my top reads of the year! Totally worth the 99 pennies, I would've paid much more for this story!

Nope. Tried. Tried again. Limited story to grasp hold of and there's only so many times I can handle him calling her a whore during the throes of it. DNF @42%.
If I'm being honest, this book sucks ass. Don't get me wrong, the sexy-times and shit are EXTREMELY well written, but that's the only saving grace of this book. The plot is really confusing.... like one minute two people are writing partners over the internet, and then suddenly the girl is moving to the exact state AND CITY of the guy after they started a fling online, while the guy has GIRLFRIEND and to make things even better this poor tortured man who cheats on his girlfriend by a girl he met online and took advantage of, is also a poor tortured alcoholic writer who has a BDSM Kink and randomly starts to humiliate the girl WHEN THERE'S NO BASIS OF TRUST LIKE IM NOT JOKING THEY LITERALLY STARTED TALKING TO EACH OTHER AS HUMANS AND INTERACTING LIKE A WEEK PRIOR AND THAT'S WITH THE GIRL NOT BEING ABLE TO EVEN TALK TO HIM 3 OF THOSE DAYS AND THEN LIKE ANOTHER 3 OF THOSE DAYS THE ASSHOLE GUY WHO IS TOO TORTURED OR SOME SHIT WAS THROWING A TEMPER TANTRUM SO HE IGNORED HER. what bullshit. please save yourself by just skipping to the actual sex.
