i was expecting more , maybe i went in with high expectations i don't know ? there was somthing missing for me and the ending .....WTF confused here ...will i read the 2nd book? possibly id b interested to see where it goes so if i remeber then yeah i would :)

If you want to read about a sexy dirty mouthed bad boy but with depth this is the book to read! This is one of my top 5 books EVER & I read a lot! Do yourself a favor and read Night Owl & I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Oh em geee freaking loved this. Devoured in an afternoon, couldn't put it down. Can't wait for the next.

Okay, I was fine with how this book ended, until I read the epilogue.

Like, seriously OMG I can't even. I'm a curious person, so I will definitely read the rest of the books, but I don't want what it looks like happens in the epilogue to actually happen.

The rest of the book I loved, I loved Matt and Hannah's relationship, it was, kind of, similar to how many relationships start - online. I loved reading Mat's struggle with everything, but it was heartbreaking too. I was glad for the dual POV as things made much more sense than they would have done if it was just from say, Hannah's POV.

Bearing the epilogue in mind, M. Pierce's Night Owl was perfect, and i can't wait to read the rest of the series.

I am flabbergasted by this book because of its greatness and some parts that made me scratch my head (there is more greatness than head scratching though...a lot more greatness.)

I don’t think I have ever experienced a love for a couple’s connection without the author presenting romance into the story. Let me restate this, the author did not write a romantic book. Matt does not wine and dine and woo Hannah; it is the feelings of lust and possession that starts and holds this relationship together. A relationship like this shouldn’t work in general but Pierce made it work for Matt and Hannah.

The author, to me, wrote Matt as the main character of this plot and he overpowered Hannah’s character but oddly enough, it worked out. Matt was such an interesting person to read about that I didn’t mind not really getting to know Hannah; I wanted to know more about Matt.

And I did; I found out a lot about Matt midway through the book that just astounded me. One minute, Matt is the dominating character and the next minute I got to witness him in such a vulnerable state that it made me feel more for Matt than I would with most characters.

This book turned out like nothing that I expected it to be; such a complete surprise. It was quite witty, a lot of sexy, and tons of dirty talk. And the epilogue…well done M. Pierce, well done!

What begins as a simple relationship, online writing partners, Hannah and Matt agree to learn nothing about each other personally and stick with just the facts the help further their novel. But as their personal lives begin to leak in to their writing relationships, they can't deny the strong attraction they share. Matt is hiding secrets that will tear apart their HEA before they even have a chance together. When Matt begins a downward spiral Hannah is the only one who can bring him back from the brink. Can her care also save the love they share? A start to a new, extremely sexy series. I liked that chapters switched back and forth between their separate points of view, giving the reader a chance to understand both Hannah and Matt's POV. Good read, excited to begin the next in the series.

This book felt like forbidden fruit. The storyline didn't compel me but the steam factor was high!

3 1/2 stars really.
I was instantly pulled into the story, the first few pages were good and utterly engaging but then I started to dislike Matt, his intensity was overwhelming and then when we reached 50% of the book the story takes a radical turn. Matt, who until then has a dangerous edge becomes his totally opposite and his story, even if heartbreaking at times, becomes this unstable being who will always be unhappy and insecure....I would bet he is possible of anything...towards the end, when she was running home I had this fear of him having done something drastic, it might have been triggered by the book he had just finished but still....he is such a difficult charater!!!
AND
What's with the freaking Epilogue!?!?!
I do no understand it...call me dumb but when we have an author writing about another author whose pen names are the same...the limits between reality and fiction becomes blurry.

3 and a Half Stars.......

I found this book pissed me off.

To start: I hate guys that cheat, you get no sympathy from me (you knew what you were doing and you knew people were gonna get hurt but you just thought with your cock instead of your brain).

I didn't like Matt. At times I thought he was okay and getting better but then he just turned into that stupid shell of a man and acted like a child.

This review and more: Sharing Inspired Kreations

This book was so not for me. Why does this always happen to me? I see a high average rating on Goodreads, I read some great reviews from trusted bloggers, I get super excited about a book, and then I end up disliking it. Why do I never love the books that everyone else seems to love?

I disliked a lot of aspects of this book. Really, the only thing that didn’t bug me was the writing. I thought the characters were mediocre at best (and not very likable), the story was weak and drove me crazy (not in a good way), there was nothing overly unique about it, and I found myself bored throughout.

Also, considering this is book is of the Romance genre, I was very disappointed by the actual romance. It didn’t feel realistic to me and I just didn’t feel the connection between the two characters.
