Apolo como mortal y con menos vidas que un gato? This is gonna be some hell of a ride!
(A-) 91% | AGES 13+ | Found reading this book—or should I say “listening to Apollo boast about himself and complain”— fairly tolerable as it isn’t a very long book. My rating is a bit biased to the fact that some returning characters made surprise appearances and that I squealed like an idiot. This was yet another successful Riordan Read. :3
P.S. (I do find this sassy, narcissistic, -insert imagination- jerk of a mortal god more entertaining than The Sword of Summer’s Magnus Chase. Nevertheless, I liked MC’s original characters better than Apollo’s. MC wins with original characters, and Apollo wins with returning characters and questions answered.)

Wasn’t expecting the book to be this funny. So far, it definitely seems to be geared more towards the “Y” in YA, which isn’t bad, it’s just weird coming straight off of heroes of Olympus. There’s definitely a lot of room to grow; I think there’s a lot of potential for interesting points of view or plot what with it being from a god’s point of view. Let’s see where we go!
