Exquisite. I put off reading this for so long because I didn't want the trilogy to end. I was glad so many of the chapters were from Bhumika's perspective--much as I love Priya and Malini, Bhumika has always been my favorite character and I was intensely invested in her storyline. This one got so tense and devastating. People are learning to live through grief in all its messiness, sacrificing themselves just when they had started to feel safe. If Tasha Suri wasn't already one of my favorite authors of all time, this book would have solidified it. I hope she writes millions more books.

if i could rate a book higher than five stars i would. this book hollowed and gutted me and i THANKED it.

i think that out of all of the books in the series, this one was my favorite.
