This is one of the best and weirdest books I've ever read. It was written in play format, so it didn't have a lot of good descriptions, but the dialogue said it all (hahahahaha). The characters were fascinating and all contributed to the small but important parts of the story. We read this in English class, so we had the privilege to read it and act it out. I thought it was SO fun and I recommend that if you do want to read this you get together with some friends and try it out that way! I definitely suggest to all! (Only thing-if you can't stand any shape or form of murder stories. It's about the jury of a murder trial.)
Classic American courtroom drama. A little dated (no women? all white?) but the themes are timeless. A couple of years in law school make me a little suspicious of some of the reasoning of the jurors. Still, it makes me hope that if I am ever on trial that I have a jury (or at least one juror) who fight as hard for me.
This is one of my favorite movies of all time. It works perfect on the stage, in print, or on film.
