Twelve Angry Men

Maybe if I hadn't read it with bored and apathetic high schoolers as part of a curricular unit, I would have enjoyed this better. Or maybe if I got to see it performed by competent actors.

I'm sure this was groundbreaking in 1954, but mostly I found it tedious, preachy, and boring. But again, I'd probably feel differently if I saw it performed professionally.

The point of this book could’ve easily been expressed in three pages. That being said, it is really short.

I love this story a lot. You can really pick it apart and get so many different insights to humanity, and the justice system.
