A terrific book with interesting characters. It was fast-paced, had a good storyline, and was easy to read. Aubrey was independent and very self-confident from facing all the trials as a child losing her sight. Ethan was a jerk to start out with but gradually changed as Aubrey made him want to be better. Overall I enjoyed and look forward to further books by this author.

I initially liked the concept of the book but felt like it was executed in a, for lack of a better word, emotionless manner... I felt like a book like this should have been a bit more emotional and insightful into the characters' feelings and not just the surface stuff. The lack of deep feelings dropped my 4* rating down to a 3*

A Beautiful Sight hold true to its title. It is a quick, sweet and a beautiful story.

Sandi Lynn has been my go-to author for when I want something sweet with minimalist angst. Sandi's books follow a certain pattern. there is an asshole male lead who has a tragic past and a female lead who fits the hero's personality perfectly, and she too comes with a tragic past of her own.

Ethan Kline is a ruthless business man, who is also known as the "Iceman" in the business world. Ethan has no feeling towards anybody. he has shut himself off completely to all feelings and stays away from anything and anyone that has the potential to scar him emotionally. But what he didn't factor in his emotionally deprived world was meeting Aubrey.

He just wanted one night with her and boy was he wrong.

Aubrey is a beautiful strong woman who lives everyday to the fullest just like everyone around her. But what sets her apart from everyone around her is what makes her character truly unique. Aubrey had met with an accident at the age of eight and lost her eyesight.

Aubrey might be blind but when you read the book you see a woman who is comfortable with the way she is and is very well equipped in her condition. She can cook, clean, shop and go around places just like any normal person. She can do what any person with an eyesight can do but give her heart or hold out a smidgen of hope for a man because it always leads to disappointment for her. Those other men could not look further her blindness and ditched her the second they knew about her being visually impaired. That is until she met a certain brooding man, Ethan.

I really loved Aubrey's character. She is sweet, lovable and strong and you can't help but love her character. She carries a pain from her past that has affected her since the day she lost her sight.
And sure, Ethan is a complete jerk with just one agenda in his mind, he does redeem himself, slowly and surely. You get glimpses of his goodness. He tries to fight his feelings until he can't and then you get to see a completely different side of him, which is sweet, loving and over all caring and protective.

Sandi Lynn's books are always told from a dual point of view and one that I enjoy in her style of writing. But this time I really, really enjoyed Aubrey's point of view. To read the book from the perspective of someone who is visually impaired is different. I didn't know how Ethan looked. I didn't know how Aubrey's aunt or best friends looked. I had no idea how the places Aubrey visited looked. I had to rely completely on Aubrey's thoughts and feelings and that, was certainly a different experience.

The book plays with a lot of emotions and feelings. It breaks the characters but them pieces them back together again. Yup, this book was certainly beautiful in its concept.

Maybe this books deserves more than 1 star and I’m being overly critical or I’m too much of a hothead and I got angry at some aspects of the story.

Or maybe I’m fed up with the same shit being recycled in romance novels and done in such a poor way that it insults my intelligence .. whatever.

Read and decide for yourselves.

PS: this books had MANY issues but I gotta sleep sometime tonight, so I’ll stick to the most important 2.

Abundance of spoilers ahead and also a lot of swearing and f-bombs to follow. My theory is if you can handle those in books you can handle them in a review.

Wow! That's the first word that comes to mind when I finish reading the phenomenal book. Then later a few other words came; beautiful, gut wrenching, emotional, survivors, anything is possible.

I'm a big fan of Sandi Lynn, I love how her charters make me feel. It doesn't make feel I'm just reading a book. I feel like I'm transported to each and every scene and that I've become apart of the characters life.

I love every aspect of this book. So much feelings. I didn't put the book down, I couldn't. It was such a beautiful piece, I'm honestly lost for words. I cried so much, and I smiled even harder. I was inspired, and so grateful and appreciative of so much aspect of my life. Because this book made you reflect even if you didn't want to.

As much as I love the steamy parts of the book, yes those scenes where ..whew! I can't take it but give me more. The emotional aspect of the character is what truly got me.
All I can say is I love it from start to finish. Don't take my word for it, read it for yourself! Get caught up, fall in love with a beautiful sight, because it was that a beautiful sight and so much more.

Thank you Sandi

A good book, and the definition of pure romance, the main characters really transmitted their feelings.

There were moments where it wasn't that realistic, but even those moments were cute and not annoying something that I've been founding a lot, on this genre.
