I just couldn't get into it, might try again later

Love Alan Rickman, but I just can’t get into it…not my genre of reading.

Honestly wish I never read this.. and truthfully not convinced he ever wanted anyone to.

Lots of complaining. Lots of deaths and funerals. Lots of calling Harry Potter a “waste of energies”.

After reading this, I think Snape may have more enjoyment in life than Alan did.

For a movie and franchise that made so many fall in love with him and then mourn for the loss of such a great actor, he certainly documented his experience as though it was the worst thing he did in his life. I wish I still had my ignorance so that I could continue to watch the movies without knowing he didn’t enjoy it.

DNF this book. Love Alan Rickman but listening to the audio on the short diary entries and the way it was edited was not my jam. Interesting to get some perspective into his day to day thoughts but, ultimately, not intriguing enough to listen to the full 19 hour audiobook.
