It was FUN. One of the best romance novels i have ever read. The fact that a lady author has accomplished to narate from a guy's point of view so accurately was amazing and hilarious. Drew is a guy with whom one can have a blast. He was interesting and even though he is an asshole most of the time, i enjoyed his assholiness, since I'm not the one being affected by it. I didn't stop laughing or at least grin, from the moment I picked up the book and it was a breath of fresh air.
Nice. :)
Drew is a one hell casanova and he used to have everything he wants. When he wants Kate, she has to want him too. But the problem is, she's not. Because she's engaged to a douchebag she knows from high school. Drew wants Kate, and he determined to open Kate's eyes so she could leave that silly fiancée of her. But what will happen when Drew's not only wants Kate's body—like he used to, but also.. Her heart?
One cute story. The storyline's simple and adorable. Even better, because its told from Drew's point of view. Not per chapter, but the whole book.
I like Kate and her guts to challenge Drew. She didn't back down when Drew annoyed her. She's fierce!
But it's kind of irritate me because even though this book's is from Drew's point of view, it's still obvious that the "talk" in Drew's head sounds very.. Womanly. Haha. He talks too much, chitty-chatty and a bit annoying. I found myself doin' shut-the-eff-up-and-go-on-already so many times.
The author's effort to make laugh somehow's a little bit too much. I mean.. Ah, you know what I mean.
But overall, this book's very enjoyable and definitely worth your money and your time. Loved it! ;)

Wow this book was something else. Drew had me laughing out loud several times and while most of the time he was an over the top, what am I doing routing for this jerk - know it all, I fell for his charm just like Kate did.
Super unique, super quirky, I could not put this book down. Kinda reminded me of the hating game in the co workers rival kinda way

Nope, just can't do it. I know this main character (who is exceptionally well-voiced by Sebastian York) is probably redeemable, but I'm not up for the guy who is completely changed by the love of a good woman. Maybe it's the setting (financial district/billionaires) but this guy is just a jerk. Right now I just can't get past it. Maybe another time.
It's very refreshing and funny to read the man's point of view. Very funny book.
See that girl - comfy clothes, cocked head, annoyed grin? Yeah, the one with the left eyebrow so raised that it might be leaving Forehead County right away? That’s me. MBDE: Me before Drew Evans.
Throughout chapters I really tried convincing myself that there is nothing wrong with not enjoying this book despite the massive pile of positive reviews it has. I even took a couple of tests regarding my humor, which I believed was dead and buried deep under – since I found this anything BUT humorous.
I’m sorry book, it appears that - it’s not me, it’s you!
I just feel that you are a little…

Let me put this simply: the author is a female human being, therefore, this book, is not a genuine portrayal of a male’s mind. I found it extremely hard to follow Drew’s thoughts, mostly because my own would take over and urge me to materialize the character and slap the attitude out of him.
What did I like? The way Drew interacts with readers. Sometimes I found it extremely thoughtful of him to adhere to the general opinion, admitting he’s a douche.
What didn’t I like? Plot, characters, the book per se.
I shall start off with the characters. Drew is simply unbelievable – in the purest negative way. Obviously, he’s emperor-like rich and inhumanly handsome, top-class smart, gifted as *ahem* humanly possible, and he could give Prince Charming lessons in being charming. Ah, and allegedly he is beyond funny. Allegedly.
However, I saw him a little bit differently...

Then, with such incredibly complex character, how could it take me so long to finish this book?I’d say it starts pretty promising, at least the first couple of paragraphs- but then comes the actual story, and there, right there is where I lost interest.
Did I mention Drew is a player? Guess with the description there was no need. And what do players do? They mostly don’t play by the rules, but they follow one in particular “Once a player, always a player!” Not the case here, because this sublime, ambitious, smart, gorgeously created piece of work named –what was her name? Oh yeah…- Katherine comes into the picture (pretty fast, I’d say). And when the boy that always gets what he wants lays eyes on the girl that is far beyond perfection – from her otherworldly long legs and peculiarly rounded B&B (butt&breasts), to her outstanding personality and work ethic- well, sh*t happens. He, supposedly, changes - and wants a shot at love! One of the feelings that was probably not on his emotional calendar (that if we, of course, exclude his mother).
There is no notable intrigue to this and it was exaggerated in so many ways, I am not even able to count them.
So what to do when a Drew Evans like character invites you to hisbook apartment?
Politely refuse.

Okay, there are aspects of this book that did not age well, like the misogynistic narration, but I was quite surprised that it managed to pull out a laugh out of me each chapter.
While Drew is a misogynistic a-hole, he grew on me. Let the author cook and he turned out to be a charming hero. Still an a-hole who I love to see cry, but also an f-boy hero who I can root for in his quest to pursue the Fmc.
Speaking of, Kate is just a badass. I hope to see more of her as I read the other books.
I love the other characters. My favorites are Alexandra, Mckenzie, and Dolores. Aka Drew's worst nightmares, and an adorable baby.
If you're expecting a great romance book, this ain't it. But if you're looking for an unconventional love story that reads like a sitcom, then this book is for you!

Graphic: Misogyny
This book was so much fun to read. My only complai.t is that it got a bit sappy towards the end. Katherine pretty much carried Drew's balls in one of her law books at the end, but I think that was the whole point.
Well done on the whole male P.O.V. It was awesome.
