At first ai just wanted to know what all the hype was about. This book was simply amazing. I don't think I ever laughed so much during a book. Drew was simply amazing, and Kate was a total badass! I loved it!
Reading from Drew's POV is just exhilarating! I can't remember the last time I laughed that loud from reading a book before.
Story was ok but I'm not a fan of that particular style of writing, there is such a thing as too much going on in someones head. Too much internal dialogue. Don't think I'll be rushing to read book two!

i never read books from male perspectives. this dude is the definition of 2000s alpha-hole “men are from mars, women are from venus” archetype. but i still found the book as a whole highly amusing. like your fave problematic 2000s romcom, it is so incredibly heteronormative and frankly, so toxic i would personally file for a restraining order, but you enjoy it anyway.
Liked the basic plot, but honestly hated the writing style. I just hated the mix between show and tell, the direct dialogue with the reader just got old after the first few episodes
Okay, so I enjoyed this book. I must have- I devoured it in about 4 hours. It was an easy read, fun and frothy. The characters are likeable and Emma Chase's writing style doesn't suck.
I was intrigued and enjoyed the fact that she was writing from his perspective- it was refreshing. I also found it refreshing that the female protagonist was a brunette. Women in these are generally the archetypal blonde.
He did seem to perfect and while his snarky, cockiness was endearing, I don't know... I prefer Zachary from Xo Zach by Kendall Ryan. He seemed more real.
As far as the story arcs I did find the last problem of winning her back a bit trite. Yes, it did play into his background and history and of course, she'd not trust him. I don't know, it felt a little stretched. Why wouldn't she just talk to him? Rather have the mix up come about due to, as Othello put it, ocular proof...
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants something easy and fun. And yes there were definite laugh out loud moments. And the dynamic definitely worked.
While I want to give this 3 stars I have given it 2. Yes, I am contrary like that.

4.5 stars! Loved it!
Yes, I know I am way late to the Tangled party, but better late than never, right? I loved this book- it was exactly what I needed right now! I loved the male POV and the hilarious banter.
I listened to the audio for this book and I LOVED it! (Sebastian York is an excellent narrator.) Also, since I listened to this in my car- there may have been one scene that caused me to literally shout obscenities at a certain someone while I was driving. At least it is winter and my window were up...
Anyway, this was a fabulous book and I regret not reading it sooner! Oh, and I should mention this is my first Emma Chase book and I am so excited that she has two other book series out already, so I should be set for a while. :)

Eh, not too bad despite the hero occasionally being an absolute pig.
nice story and nicely written but this is 100% fan fiction material. I would read one if i want. Thats not why I read novels.
