Can I waste no time in praising Emma Chase for having the balls to write a romance novel from the guys perspective, and what's more, doing it so bloody well?
Drew is narcissistic, cocky, a player, and rude, so how does he still come across as insanely attractive, inside and out? I'll tell you, great writing. The 'internal journey' he goes on, which so many bachelor book boyfriends do, is done so believably and gently and he doesn't become a completely changed man overnight. He falls in love. It doesn't change every aspect if who he is.
The conversational tone is brilliant and truly shows his character. Within the first couple of chapters I had Drew pinned down. Kate was more of a mystery, and I loved that. Too often is the female lead an all too open book.
If you haven't read this book then you should. If you have read this book you should scream in your friends faces until they pick up the book and read it too!

So funny, so sweet... A book from the male POV that kept me invested. Drew is an amazing character to watch grow!
LOVED this book. I highlighted so much on my Kindle app that it would probably glow in the dark if it was in print! I love wit in a book and I love steamy detailed hawt lovin' in a book and this book was the best of both of those. It was so much fun to read! I can't wait to read more by Emma Chase! She must have some legit guy friends to have this much insight as to the horny male mind!
This book starts out with Drew having the "flu" which actually turns out to be heartbreak. The author takes the story back 4 months so we can learn drew & Kate's story.
Drew is cocky, way too handsome and full of himself. He has a HUGE ego and is a man-ho. Definitely not the typical H I swoon over.....not at all!! But, this author did something magical with Drew, and I actually loved him.
This story is strictly told from the male POV and that was a genius move for this character as I was able to understand a different layer than what appeared (on the surface) to be a shallow guy. There were some pretty honest, cringe-worthy and hysterical thoughts rolling through this guy's head. Men are so clueless sometimes. Lol

What an absolutely fantastic story! Drew had me giggling no end and Kate, well I just love her to bits. A truly fabulous story that will bring a huge smile to your face, even if you are having a bad day. Can not recommend this book enough!
