I love this book, mostly because it's the first romance novel I've read told entirely in the man's point of view.
At first, he's your typical playboy; selfish, horny and all about making money. I really enjoyed an unapologetic glimpse into a man's brain (even though I was rolling my eyes and calling him a ridiculous horn-dog) and the satisfying journey we took as he met his match, was charmed, and fell in love -- and then realized that his priorities were all messed up. The uncovering of a character that was more than meets-the-eye was a trip.
Not only was this book funny and well-written, but it was steamy and easy to picture every single love scene as if I were watching it in person. It was true to life and sexy as hell. Ahem.
Yeah. Five stars on this one.

I think it's a bit cliche. Indeed it is quite of a chic flic, considering it's solely from a man's point of view, it's rather usual and not that.. catchy. When I was done, I was like, meh. That was it? But I enjoyed reading it at least.
:)
:)
I'm giving it 1 star just to lower the ratings, otherwise I would have given it a 0. I mean, I don't have high hopes for the genre, yes I said it, but I didn't think that it could sink this low.
Let's get into this, shall we?
Female protagonist: perfect body, perfect mind, if-you-are-not-slim-and-beautiful-like-her-dont-bother-breathing kind of gal. Also written HORRIBLY. She must have some unresolved issues or maybe the fiance thing made her think that the unbearable douchebag could be slightly better but honestly she is depicted like a genius and acts like a 15 year old.
All the other characters:????????? Do they even exist???? I can't hear them over the sound of how boring and useless they are.
Now for the main course, the male protagonist:
I'm gonna keep this short and sweet.
I've read all kinds of trash over the years, I've seen possessive and I've seen crazy, stupid and boring, but NEVER EVER in my life have I seen such a DISGUSTING MISOGYNISTIC PIG as the main character.
He is full on rape culture, women are trash, incel-red pill advocate wannabe.
Can't even put into words how bad he is. I didn't find one single thing he did or said in the entire book that could redeem him.
I just kept on reading to see if Kate would dump him or kill him or something.
Just.. Don't read this book, I went through hell for you and read it instead. Learn from my mistakes.
P. S. I sincerely hope that all the people that gave it more than 2 stars are ok and have a normal relationship with the male figures in their lives.

Drew was seriously so easy to hate and even until the end he is not my favorite. His arrogance is astounding and I actually appreciated it.

I eye rolled throughout this one.
The playboy Drew falls in love with his new fiesty colleague.
