Three stars plus the fourth alone for the Braveheart reference! It was good, but like Kate, I'm not too eager to trust the guy and his POV.
This book was not great but it was okay... if you don't get me just read the below description. ..
So, You brush your teeth, right? Well, suppose your favorite toothpaste is Aquafresh. But the store is out. All they have is Colgate.....
What are you going to do? You’re going to use the Colgate, right?
You may want to brush with Aquafresh, but when all is said and done, you use what you have to keep those pearly whites clean. See my way of thinking? Good.
So it was like one time watch movie I mean it was one time read book.....

Fun and irreverent
Fun and naughty story about this conceited guy (Drew) who has women falling for him left and right. Until one night he meets this woman (Kate) who took him to his knees and she was engaged and faithful to her boyfriend. Then she ends up working with him, at I-banking. It was like a War of the Roses with an HEA. Lots of frolics, zingers, competition (of the friendly sort) and it was all very fun. What I liked the most was Mackenzie and her swear jar. The little girl must be a millionaire by now LOL.
Totally fun book, totally recommend.

I freaking love this book!!! I never thought I would like Drew because he was such a player and so different than any other hero in other novels I've read that I didn't even now what to make of him in the first but like Kate I fell head over heels for him or maybe that was because i was laughing so darn hard!!! This book is so funny! especially when they were competing against each other and he decided to run up forty flights of stairs while Kate took the elevator. I swear! One minute i wanted to knock his head against a wall and the next I wanted to kiss his face! Overall it was an amazing book with amazing characters and i'm ashamed to say (cough cough) I actually took notes!
Good for the soul
This is the first book I have read by Emma Chase, and I am so glad I found her work. So many feels are packed into the pages of Tangled, the first book in The Tangled series. Great story building that leaves you feeling light hearted by the last page.

Just what’s up with the bs patriarchy is all. This aged so poorly. The love bombing is gross. Thanks for the reminder. *cringe*
Do you know what I'm going against the grain here... I just didn't love this. I was so tempted to DNF towards the start several times. I found Drew such a douche bag ( please don't hate me, I know he's written this way) I wanted to KILL him. Sexist a hole.

I know people like this and "strongly dislike" them BUT he grew on me. Towards the end, I was so glad I persisted with him.On the female MC, Katherine thankfully grew away from the Killer-bod-Cool girl of "Gone girl monologue " to a very well rounded character that I started to really like. She was sassy, smart and knew her own mind.
I loved Emma Chase's [b: Royally Screwed|29991719|Royally Screwed (Royally, #1)|Emma Chase|http://images.gr-assets.com/books/1463068765s/29991719.jpg|50395229] and loved her brand of writing funny engaging male and female first person narrating. Writing it just from DREW's POV was bold but I like it. It's actually very funny, I was giggling on the tube at the dinner party scene. I rate it 3* as it was good but not for me my favourite. I will try more by the author, as I really like her writing style.

I like the male view rom com type adult romance’s. Drew is kinda your typical douche canoe but he comes by it honestly.
There were a few parts I laughed out loud and you can never go wrong with those kinda books.
