This was a good read and such a new way to tell a story. Parts of this book made me laugh so hard. Drew is super sexy.

Definitely a great book after reading something so dark. It's sweet, romantic, and amusing! Ya guise should read this one!

I actually finished this book shockingly. It was well written and I enjoyed the humorous style.... but that’s about it. The protagonist was SO unlikeable— arrogant, conceited, typical f-boy, sexist, borderline (or maybe past depending on your POV) sexual harassing, creepy and stalkerish. And it was all told from his warped point of view. I normally read and prefer books from the girl’s perspective and now I see why. Yeeeesh... do all guys think this way? It makes me a little apprehensive that they do now. #singleforlife #timetobuy5cats #futurecooldrunkaunt

I enjoyed the way the story was told, as it was kind of unique (breaking of the 4th wall)

However, the MMC was insufferable and gross. The redemption arc didn’t reach far enough for me.

BOOK CHICK REVIEWt

I bought this book well over 6 months ago. And for some reason, I hadn't read it yet. I read it in almost one sitting. It was great, Emma Chase did an amazing job on being in a man's head. I laughed so hard at some of Drew's comments. Really, I've never been a huge fan of comedy books, but this one really got me. It was so funny, so interesting, I couldn't look away for a moment. The romance was awesome, the humour was great, the writing was just fantastic.

Drew and Kate were adorable together. Near the end of the book when Drew went nuts with the gifts and such, it was such a great scene to read. If this is actually how guys think, then it is 100% true that guys think about sex every three seconds. Everything Kate did reminded Drew of sex somehow. It was just so funny how the tiniest thing turned into a huge deal in his mind. It is so good to know that it's not just girls that can be the ones to over analyze something!

The story was great. I love office romance's, and this one is definitely one to be recognized. I actually think I preferred this one to Beautiful Bastard because of the characters bantering. It was captivating, no matter what was happening, your eyes can't leave the page! This is a book I can recommend to someone and almost guarantee that they will love it!

Once again, I recommend this to fans of new adult and comedy, even if you not a huge fan of new adult and you just like comedy or romance, give this book a shot. It is a guarantee that you'll laugh at least once!

Meh. This was okay. Formulaic and no different than the hundreds of billionaire romance books out there. I watched the movie first and then wondered if the book would be any better. It wasn’t.

harusnya caption Novel Dewasa.x harus.x di depan. Sy kira cuman novel romance biasa. Bagian detail.x diskip, walaupun udah tua tp belum sanggup baca.

I am sooooo behind in this review, as I read this a while ago. But I really liked it and couldn't NOT review it. So, here we go!

I think I am an Emma Chase fan. The more I read from her, the more I like. Her Royally series? Very entertaining. Getting Schooled? Adorable! But this one? Tangled positively had me in stitches! There's a scene at a holiday dinner involving an olive... I still giggle thinking about it!

Drew Evans is a driven investment banker who fears commitment as much as I fear clowns (you don't know me, but that's A LOT). But since Katherine Brooks came into his life, he's been beside himself. And when she ended things? He became sick with the flu. At least that's what he'll tell you.

Normally, cocky man-whores are automatic turnoffs for me in novels, but Drew manages to make me like him anyway. Maybe it's his innate humor. I will overlook a lot for a man who's funny.

What I most appreciated about this book is that Drew constantly breaks the fourth wall, speaking directly to the reader. He's like a powerful, sexy Ferris Beuller. And it made it really easy to see this book made into a film. Hello? Passionflix? Are you reading this???

The audiobook is read by Sebastian York and his deep melodic voice exudes alpha manliness. It's perfect for Drew. This is a must-listen if not a must-read.

Here are some of my favorite quotes:

Drew's opinion on his niece watching Cinderella:
“For God's sake, don't let her watch Cinderella. What kind of example is that? A mindless twit who can't even remember where she left her damn shoe, so she has to wait for some douchebag in tights to bring it to her? Give me a frigging break!”

Drew on cheesy romance novels:
“He moved his trunk-like manhood toward the weeping petals of her womanly center.'

Who the f*ck talks like that?!”

Drew (to his niece) on the power of womanhood:
“Mackenzie raises her hand proudly. “I have a bagina.”
I smirk. “Yes, you do sweetheart. And someday, it’s gonna help you rule the world.”

Funny and sweet. Hit the spot after all the dark, serious romances I've been reading lately.
