This book was very twisted and depressing but I still loved it. I can’t wait to have discussions about this book with my book club.

What an amazIng book! Highly recommend!

Redeeming Love started off pretty strong. Micheal was very sweet. However, I didn't like the backstory of his father being a slave owner; especially because I know exactly who the Israelites are today. Ifykyk.

Lastly, there were too many variables in this story to make it great. It wasn't strictly a Hosea and Gomer story. Had a sprinkle of other biblical stories woven in. Also, this book did not have to be almost 500 pages, we could've did it in about 200. I mean the original biblical story is 14 very short chapters. Lol

The Insta-Love of Michael and his lack of a personality paired with the lengthiness of this one didn’t do it for me

This is one of my favorite books of all time! Firstly because I am the world's biggest romantic and secondly because it reminds me of God's great love for us :)
