4.5⭐️ this was a very moving story. It taught the importance of endurance, faith, true love, forgiveness etc. By the end I was able to grasp how special this was and know that the things I learned from it, I'll carry with me for the rest of my life.

It was sooooo amazing! The whole time I was reading I just kept thinking about the parallels between Michael and Angels relationship and God's relationship with His people, which made the book so emotional!

The book was well written, but I was dissapointed that this just seems to be a regular romance book with Jesus just kind of tacked on at the end. For being a "Christian" book, it went into more detail than I would have thought. The first 3/4 of the book is Michael and Angel, in which the only Christian aspect is God telling Michael to marry her, and go back to her. He doesn't try to explain God to her, or tell her about Jesus, she just somehow hears a voice towards the last 1/4 of the book. IMO, closer to a smut book than a christian one. :(

A wonderful allegory that helped me to understand the story of Hosea and Gomer in a way I never realized I could. Amazing insight into what could have happened to someone in their life to cause them to behave the way they do and how to possibly forgive and love them in a better way .
Would make a great book club reading for Christians!
