● Kupiła mnie całkowicie ta książka. Jej bohaterowie także.
● Główny bohater nie jest mega przyjemną postacią, ale moim zdaniem bardzo to tutaj pasuje + jest mimo wszystko człowiekiem, który troszczy się o wiele rzeczy i ma na uwadze dobro drugiego człowieka (i rozczulało mnie w jaki sposób wypowiadał się o bliskich dla niego osobach, a rzadko spotykam coś takiego).
● Fabuła jest naprawdę angażująca i plotwisty (mimo że nie są obiektywnie bardzo wyjątkowe) mnie zaskoczyły, przez to że były umiejscowione w dobrym miejscu.
● Cały warsztat książki uważam za coś niesamowitego.
● Nie zgadzam się, że książka jest wulgarna. Każde przekleństwo jest umiejscowione w odpowiednim miejscu. Sceny erotyczne są tak bardzo subtelne, że nie nazwałabym ich nawet scenami erotycznymi (pomijając fakt, że praktycznie i tak w ogóle ich tu nie ma).

Read this if you have religious trauma, are bitter, love vampires, love Geralt / Witcher vibes, and don't mind getting your heart bruised.
There is so much I love about this book. Illustrations were beautiful and abundant (THANK YOU FOR THIS), suspense absolutely killed me, and the writing was extremely poetic, I have more quotes written in my notes app from this book than I think any other!
The writing did get too corny sometimes, even for me, and I kept going in between loving and hating the fact it was told the way it was. Realistically, person or mythical being, there's no way one would tell their story to their enemy in such vulnerable detail, including describing laying with their wife But it's hard because it also made it so cinematic and entertaining?
If this doesn't become adapted to screen then I'll throw a tantrum (even though I'd have to skip sooo many parts bc BRUTAL).
I mourn the fact I'm done with this book. Oops, onto the next!
