I remember thinking I didn't love this as much as the first book. Definitely more "nostaligia porn" as my friend said.
My partner said it best, “Ready Player One is a love letter to 80s tech and culture. Ready Player Two is a love letter to Ready Player One.”
A well done and enjoyable listen.

Both ready player one and two are really good books. The main character is flawed and interesting but the side characters are the classic side characters, found in most sci-fi books. The plot is extremely interesting and fun. The book lacks deep character development/creation, however the story makes up for it. These books know what they are and they do not stray from what from what makes them great. I would highly recommend.
Pretty good. The first 110 pages are pretty boring; it's like the author had SO MANY cool things to show us about the OASIS, but they're not well-incorporated into the plot, so it's a lot of infodumping.
The plot itself is a bit cliche, but it is very fun. I liked Wade being an ass. It was fun.
The last chapter was very different and I wasn't a huge fan because I am not a huge sci-fi person, but it was super well-done. It's really cool, and if I loved sci-fi more, it would have been fantastic.
I was scared I would hate it after loving Ready Player One, but I had fun. Good job, Ernest Cline :)

It's a good book but I feel like it would have been better off as a novella.
